Happy Birthday & Happy Retirement Linda!!
This is for a very dear friend of mine. She is retiring from school bus driving after 20 yrs & also has a B-day~ All the flowers are gumpaste... homemade by me! I'm very proud of them :-) I painted them w/ luster dust & pearl glaze. Cake is 8", 14", White Almond Sour Cream Cake (1st time baking it, it's incredible, thanks Denise!!), Raspberry Filling, & good ole' Buttercream Icing! My BCI was too thin for the bottom ruffles but other then that I think I did pretty good~ Thanks for looking!!

When I saw this cake I had to do a double-take. It is GORGEOUS! I love every element of it! Your sotas are outstanding, I love your color choice and everything about it, especially the ruffle border beneath the shell; and the flowers - OMG! 8O This is one of the most beautiful cakes I've seen in a long time - your friend is very lucky!
I said sotas - I meant cornelli.
