Baby Blocks Cake
shower cake for a friend.. lots of fun.. but dang, were those blocks hard to get all even. The cakes are iced in whipped frosting, and the decorations are buttercream. Three 6.5 inch layers and filled with Strawberry Kahlua Cream. I probably will NEVER used whipped icing again though.. could't get it stiff enough to smooth to my satisfaction. But every one loved the cakes.. and I got my FIRST PAYING order tonight too! YIPPEEE!
Oh.. the top says JOY and the two smalle akes in front have mom and dad's initials on top. And THANKS BIG to Amy (cakemommy) for all the help!!! YOu saved me! LOL!
