Golden Owl Cupcakes

Another idea inspired by Land O Lakes Harvest Baking magazine. The cover shows cute owl cupcakes made with slivers of almonds for feathers and lifesavers for eyes. My owls are made with buttercream feathers and royal icing eyes and extra feathers. I used Wilton shimmer dust,-though it doesn't show well in the picture. Thanks for looking!
