Chocolate cake covered in chocolate buttercream and ganache. Ole Miss crest is a FBCT. Unfortunately the sunlight affected the picture :o( . I hope the photographer got a better pic.
Thanks. I can usually get FBCT's very smooth but in this cake the Ole' Miss Crest has so many tiny delicate lines on it that I couldn't smooth it much without messing it up. It looked good in the reception hall but the sunlight shows the true flaws :oops: .

Thank you all! For my (double batch) chocolate recipe, all I do is replace one cup of powdered sugar with 1 cup powdered cocoa.

This cake is almost too perfect with the icing, granache and piping! The only comment I have is the FBCT isn't as smooth as the rest of the cake.

Perfectly smooth frosting and I so amazed that your piping is the same size also. I do wish I could see the topper better.
