I made this for a friends daughter who's birthday falls on the fourth of July. She loves barbie and wanted something patriotic. Her daddy was deployed at the time so I used the yellow ribbon to tie that in. I used a full sized barbie w/ fondante top and star decorated skirt.

That is so Wonderful! You did a great job. It's so hard for little girls when their daddy's deployed expecially at b.day time...that was So Awesome of you to tie that in. GREAT JOB

I was wondering...you said that you used a full sized barbie. Did you use the Wilton Wondermold, too? I have tried, but I have never gotten a full sized barbie to fit. I always get the doll picks from Wilton. It would be great to use a real Barbie! Very Beautiful Cake! :D
