It is cute. Except for the tail I thought it was a friendly porcupine! LOL Actually, I think if the mane came a little more towards the front and around the ears that would make it a little more lion-like. And trust me, I am not laughing at you I am laughing because this is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me!

Cute thing for sure! Great idea also, for a lion II would try the nose as an upside down triangle

I thought it was an adorable hedgehog, I agree if you change the nose and mouth slightly and bring the main in more it would look how you want.

I think it's the mane. Lions manes circle their head... I think. The tail looks like a lions though ! Really cute whatever it is...

The tail was fondant with a BC tip. I think I was modeling him after my DD stuffed lil lion. He looks like this one. I SO appreciate all the help - hopefully the REAL one will actually LOOK like a lion!
