Funky Stacked Cake

Funky Stacked Cake on Cake Central

Designed for a bridal fair, i made it out of cake instead of foam because i wanted to see if I could make it! It didn't turn out perfect but I learnt a lot and it was fun to do something a bit funky.

Funky is right .... that is sooooo cool! Your colours are fabulous together, and your abstract shapes accent it beautifully. Would love to know what size/shapes they were .. is the third tier a flat round on it's side? And how you would transport a cake like this?!! Congrats ... I think it's wonderful!

Hi the bottom cake was a 30cm square, the middle two 20cm squares ( i think). The Third was a 15cm round on its side. It was choc mud so i had to board and dowel it. ALl the layers were doweled and then i ran a long dowel thru the three layers before i put the ball on. I held tha ball on with royal icing. It was pretty soldid and i took sapre curls and balls just in case! Min:)
