thank you for all the nice comment  ... for those interested I made this out of A 12" wilton heart pan with the boobs out of the wilton ball pan. I placed a small hill (about 1cm thick) in the middle and placed the boobs on to make them sit on an angle. I coverd it in flesh tone fondant and then for the bottom just coved in more pink fondant. I then pressed an embosser all over to make that fabric embroidery pattern. For the cups I used a garlend cutter and modelling paste and just opened it up a...
you can try and make it out of butter cream but it won't have the same "relaistic" look that fondant usually gives. Try tip 104 or the like for the ruffle, and for the imprint you can try the papertowl technique they show in one of the articles that makes the butter cream look really smooth, but to get a pattern try a papertowel that has an embossed design. Hope it works out! good luck PS. working with fondant is actually a looooot easier than buttercream in some ways, and not as difficult as some may...
Thanks for the information! I am new to fondant and wanted to try to make the ruffles that way. Do you recommend gumpaste over fondant - or are they about the same? Thanks again and I love all your cakes but this one is beautiful! Also I wasn't able to find the fleshtone colour paste - Can you give me something more on that?
The fondant isn't good to use - it's too soft and won't dry hard. You must use 100% gumpaste to get the best result so it looks like thin light fabric. The fleshtone can be also made with maybe an offwhite, ivory, baige, or for darker skin tones small amounts of brown etc..just mix and math whatever you have! Just remember to add small amounts at a time becuase once you go darker than you want its hard to go back! Hope that helps. Ps. the fleshtone came in the Cake Craft Gel Colours if you wanted to know
The ruffle was made with gumpaste...all you do is roll it out very thin and then I used a ruffle cutter. A ruffle cutter is like a donut cutter but the edge is ruffled...then you cut the amount you need and with a ruffling stick thin out the edges so they look all curled up like that. So that makes one layer, then you just keep layering the gumpaste ruffles one by one starting from the bottom. Otherwise you can use royal icing, or some other icing and any wilton tip from 101 to 104 and get a similar look
