Nice cake! Might be a stupid question, but what is a smash cake?

What did you use to cover the ake? How did you make the feet stand up? It's beautiful!

how cute :) good job! and a smash cake mmariamm is a cake given to the baby on their first birthday and they're allowed to smash/eat it as they like ... they make an absolute mess of it and you, of course, video or take pictures of the cake all over the baby ... it'll be cute when they're all grown up to see their faces covered in cake (preferably chocolate as it shows up better :D )

icingonthecupcake, the cake is covered with candy clay. The dark brown is regular chocolate. The nose and ears is white chocolate mixed with a little regular chocolate. The hands and legs are completely molded out of candy clay. When candy clay is refrigerated it becomes hard (texture of a chocolate bar). Candy clay is the perfect frosting for a childrens cake because they love the taste of it.

ok another stupid question. Where do you get candy clay???
