I made this cake to taste similar to the Tasty Kake butterscotch krimpets. It's a 3 layer yellow cake with butterscoth frosting, decorated with a butterscotch drizzle and morsels/shavings on top.

It tasted pretty close (just without that greasy aftertaste). The original recipe was 1/8 cup butterscotch morsels, 1/2 cup softened butter, 2/3 cup water, and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. However, I found it to be overpoweringly butterscotchy, so I added a second portion of all the ingrediants except for the bs morsels. The recipe didn't make very much volume, so I recommend at least doubling it anyway. Enjoy!
