Tinkerbell Birthday Cake

Tinkerbell Birthday Cake on Cake Central

Strawberry cake covered in MMF .. I used my 3" pans in 12 and 10 inch round sizes.... this was a birthday cake for my husband's great niece, Zoe who turned 4 years old.. the Tinkerbell at the bottom was actually a keychain that I took the chain off of and stood on the side of the cake :)

Sheryl....are these single layers or double layers. I'm doing a 2 year old cake for this weekend and think I'll do the stacked cake rather than sheet cake......I've only done 2" layers. I used Wilton rolled fondant....do you prefer MMF????? I'M JUST LEARNING THIS FONDANT STUFF!!!!!! LOL!

I used my 3" pans for this one, but I don't see why you couldn't do a double layer 2" version of it... and I love MMF!! It's very sticky at first, but once your work some cornstarch into it, it rolls beautifully and smoothes really well .. the Wilton fondant just tastes so nasty... MMF tastes really good... I can't stop pinching off pieces and eating it! lol
