I made the shells out of candy melts, I painted a little white into the bottom of the candy mold and then filled it up with pink or purple (that was my first try on that just hoped it would come out and it did) as far as the cake color I just didn't mix the color all the way into the icing because I thought that would give it more of a narural water look (I used wilton color teal)and I also painted teal lines into the pipning bag before I did the border.
