A Super Silly Fiesta

Preschool bday cake for my niece and 4 classmates. I wasn't even going to attempt writing all their names on this half-sheet, so I made chocolate balloons with their names on it instead. My SIL will insert the balloons into the cake at the party. Hope she gets a good pic for me! Dora, Diego, and Boots are fbct's. Cake iced with Pastry Pride.

it's a half sheet cake. i put two 8x12's side-by-side, but cut off half an inch to fit the cake board. with frosting, it ended up about 12x16.

What is Pastry Pride icing?

Pastry Pride is a non-dairy whipped topping. I get it Smart & Final. Thaw and whip. Tastes great.

Where did you find the picture. I just really love everything about this cake. My daughters 2nd b-day is coming up and I can't decide if I want to do a fbct or stacked cake with dora objects. If I do a fbct it will be my first one....

Great job on the FBCT, I would love to hear how you did it as well if you wouldnt mind sending me a pm that would be great. I have tried a couple times to do a FBCT and they didnt turn out nearly as good as this one!! Great job :)
