Tiny Pink Flowers And Vines
This was the most feminine cake! I adored it right when the bride showed me a magazine with this photo.
I made the 2 sizes of flowers in gumpaste and the vines in royal icing directly onto the cake.
Flavours were Chocolate with Toasted Hazelnut Buttercream, Lemon with Fresh Strawberry Buttercream and Banana with Tahitian Vanilla Buttercream.
this is really perfect!! I would love to know how to make toasted hazelnut buttercream! YUM!
This cake is very beautiful - you did a great job!

Thanks everyone! I'll try to find the original cake that inspired her design. (It had little red flowers and dark green scrollwork.)
Beautiful! I love it.
Just beautiful. How do you get your scrolls so perfect?
wow, they didn't seem perfect to me. It's really hard to pipe on the sides of a cake for me....royal icing isn't that bad, but buttercream makes me crazy! I have the original photo, I think I'll post it in the forum if you'd like to see?
very beautiful, would have loved something on the top

this is inspiring for my Wedding that i am having in june of 2006 very beautifil. Simple in a way but yet so elegant and breathe taking. You do beautiful work!! :princess:
I toasted about a cup of hazelnuts for 8 minutes in the oven and rubbed them between towels to get the skins off. Chopped them finely and added them to chocolate buttercream. Yum! Tastes like Nutella spread!!
