Baby Einstein Caterpillar

This is my first 3D cake!! It's made using the sports ball. All cakes are yellow choc swirl with bc icing. I can't wait to do my next 3D cake!

I smoothed using Viva paper towels. I got that tip when I first joined CC!

I really like this cake. How did you attach the head? Did you use a dense cake so it wouldn't crumble?

I used dowel rods to hold the head in place, and a mixture of white and marble cakes..no crumbling.
