Welcome To The Neighborhood For Our New Neighbors

2-layer, 9" with buttercream. The pumpkins, squash and acorns are fondant. The tiny leaves on the borders are from the Wilton Fall Cupcake sprinkles. The leaves are gumpaste.....cut using the nested maple cookie cutter set from Wilton.

This is VERY pretty! I just love fall. This cake has become my inspiration for a cake I'm doing for this weekend. Thanks for sharing!

How cute! Love that you still do nice things for "new neighbors"! I've been in my new house for about 3 months now and I still don't know my neighbors :o Anyway, LOVE your cake! Cute little pumpkins!!!

I don't know what FMM script letters are....sorry. They are from Wilton.....you know....the thing where you slide the little plastic letters on that long clear thingy then gently press them into the cake for tracing. I'm sorry....I don't know what that tool/kit is called.....I'm a bit dense.

Yeah, when we moved in nobody bothered to introduce themselves either.....I don't want them to feel like that. Sometimes we just seem to forget how important the small things really are. Thanks for checking out my cake.

Wow. It's nice to know that some people are still neighborly in the world :). I bet their reaction had to have been priceless! Great Job:)
