The Cioletti - My First Wedding!
Yes... my first wedding cake! The Groom and I have been friends for 20ish years and this was my Wedding Gift to them... heck of a nice gift if I may say so! 5 Layers... 3 were French Vanilla Almond Sour Cream Cake with Raspberry Filling... 2 layers were Chocolate Fudge Cinnamon Sour Cream Cake with Strawberry Filling. I flavored the MMF with Cinnamon and Almond to match the layers of cake flavors.
love the designs of the piped decorations. You're right, it was a pretty darned nice wedding gift!

Thanks everyone! There is a story behind the lamp shades... their wedding invitations were a picture of them with lampshades on their heads, and the same picture was used in one of those "Sign the Matt" things for the guest book. Hilarious couple! :)

The Recipes... I acutally used the White Almond Sour Cream Cake recipe found on this site, but modified it with French Vanilla cake mix and Chocolate cake mix with Cinnamon extract vs. Almond! Enjoy!!
