60Th Birthday Cake
This is a cake that I made for my friend's mom's birthday. The top 2 cakes are vanilla sponge with lemon cream and lemon bc. The bottom cake was choc sponge with choc bc for the bottom layer, coffee bc for middle layer and dulce de leche bc for the top layer. All cakes were covered in mmf and the flowers were made of RI and dusted with pearl dust. This was my first attempt at 3 tiers. A bit of a nightmare, but overall worked out better than expected. Wish I had better candle than the dollar store ones!
Very pretty. Looks great.
Lovely job!!!!!
You did a super job on this beautiful cake - congrats it's a beauty!
Great cake! could you tell me where you got your recipe for your vanilla sponge cake?
It is so lovely. Great work. :)

Very beautiful! I love the pink! It reminds me a lot of one I saw in a Peggy Porchen book.

Simple and elegant. Awesome!
thank you everyone for your kind comments! this design was from peggy porschen's pretty party cakes. she does some very beautiful cakes! thank you for your suggestions on piping RI over the candle - i will try it next time for sure!

Very very pretty. I love this!
This is perfect!!
Looks perfect--would never guess it was your first 3 tiered cake! If you want to change the colors of candles, try piping over them with RI or food color-they usually aren't lit long enough to "melt" the icing.
Very beautiful, it came out great.
This is beautiful even with the dollar store candles! Such a pretty feminine cake!! Nice job!
It's gorgeous! Bet she was blown away! Friend and Mom!
