This was my first time using fondant, so I decided to use one of the projects out of the Wilton 2007 yearbook to guide me through. After a lot of hard work, it is done! I am pretty proud of it. I need to get better at transferring it onto the cake. The bottom is 12 inches, so it was a little difficult getting that much fondant transferred without ripping it!

I used MMF and the top is 8 inch, bottom 12 inch dummy. Chocolate w/ cookies and cream filling (4 layers).

Very nice job for your first fondant try. I hope I can do 1/8 as good as you did. I have bought all the tools for fondant I just can't get enough courage to try and do it. But you did really good. Nice cake. Nice and smooth looks good.
