My boyfriend had to work today, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so I made him a cake to bring to work. It is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The face is different shades of chocolate buttercream.

this made me feel so good to this cake. what a great idea and I'm all so glad to see someone think of his holiday I love you for that it mean so much to me and my culture. Very good job on the cake it looks great, looks just like some of the pictures I've seen.
Really awesome. MLK Day is a holiday like every other holiday. More people should celebrate like this.
Oh my goodness, I love it. I am fortunate enough to work for a company that has this day as a holiday. It feels so good to see something that is part of my ethnic background. LOVE IT!!
I jumped online to grab a recipe and saw this. Your cake is excellent. What a wonderful way to celebrate the life of such a special person in our history.

Great idea and great execution. Faces out of bc are difficult and this came out fabulous. :)
