Tractor Trailer Cake

looks great i have got to make one 4 my boy friend's birthday. how did you get the truck shape?

I baked off a 13X9 cake for the trailer, cut & stacked, the I baked off another cake in a loaf pan. I cut off the front third of the loaf & turned it cut side down on top of the loaf-this gave me the 'window' secton of the cab. (I butted the loaf cake up against the cut 'trailer' part & 'glued it w/BC, then 'glued the window section on). Does that make sense?I hope so :)
