I just made this last night for a guy who drives a MAC truck like this one- I tried my best to copy beckyk's truck- didn't turn out as nice, but I tried!!!Thanks for the inspiration! Cake is pound w/BC filling & icing-accents in fondant w/NUsilver dust, choc donut wheels.
looks great i have got to make one 4 my boy friend's birthday. how did you get the truck shape?
I baked off a 13X9 cake for the trailer, cut & stacked, the I baked off another cake in a loaf pan. I cut off the front third of the loaf & turned it cut side down on top of the loaf-this gave me the 'window' secton of the cab. (I butted the loaf cake up against the cut 'trailer' part & 'glued it w/BC, then 'glued the window section on). Does that make sense?I hope so :)
Looks great!
Very cute
I think you did a good job!!!! Becky!
