I melted white chocolate, poured it on wax paper, when it started to solidify I place another piece of wax paper on top and lightly rolled it with a rolling pin to 1/8". I then took a sharp knife and cut a 1" strip, including the wax paper. I draped it over my Kitchen aid mixer bowl to finish hardening. After an hour or so I place it on the cake. I made 2 in case of breakage, since this was being transported about 30 miles away. Thanks for the wonderful comments, they are so encouraging.
what a neat idea for making the handles ... i made one yesterday and opted for side handles because i was out of time and a bit clueless ... love yours! :)
very beautiful. did this take a long time? thanks for sharing.
