Teapot Baby Shower

Teapot Baby Shower on Cake Central

Did this for a baby shower, but they were doing an afternoon tea for the shower instead of the norm. shower. I covered the whole cake in fondant. 10" sq. and ball pan with a 6 in. rd in the midd. of it for the teapot. Accessories made from gumpaste, TFL.

Thank you for the cake dimensions....beautiful cake. Are the butterflies cut with cookie cutter? and how did you get the wings to stand up?

Is the teapot solid or just a shell? Our church has a tea every year and this would make a great centerpiece! Love it!

thank you so much for commenting :D Stampinron, the butterflies are cut using a cookie cutter and then I fold a piece of paper kind of as a fan fold and then I take each butterfly and using an exacto knife but not pressing hard push down a bit in the center where the wings meet and then close the wings together a bit before I put them in the folds of the paper.
