The cake is so nice, I don't see that you need to guild the lily by adding ribbon. I'd take it off.

I agree with AnnaZA it is beautiful, the ribbon is not nec. I think it takes away from your beautiful scroll work. You dont want to hide that!! Awesome awesome cake!! ;-D

Thanks for the compliments.. I actually added a small touch of ribbon to give some height to the cake..
