Bulldozer
This was my first 3D cake, made for my nephew's 3rd B'day. I spent a lot of time planning and researching for this cake. It did not turn out as I wished, but I will keep working on my techniques and hopefully I will improve (dramatically) :)
Oh my gosh! What a great idea! I love the way the bulldozer is destroying the cake. I've never seen anything like this. Have to save this in my favorites. How did you make the bulldozer and it's scooper? Is that licorice for the the treads. That looks good too.
I think it's great! Your originality is terrific. I may use your idea for a cake for my grandson. Keep on caking!!
Yes it is licorice. However, if I had to do this over again, I would have used black BC with a star tip. I think it would have looked so much nicer. Plus the Licorice kept flipping up. Thanks for your kind words :oops:
I love this! I have to do a "track digger" cake for a friend's 1st bday. Is this the same as a bulldozer? I love your idea - so cute! What is the scooper made from?
The scooper is cake w/black BC Icing. Black Licorice between dozer and scoop.
