We waited to do my bridal shower until the week of my wedding so that my out-of-town family could be here. I decided to do my own cake...I'm crazy!! With everything else that needed to be done, I couldn't devote the time to doing what I wanted with this cake. Lessons learned I guess. I still got a number of compliments and it looked pretty with the flowers on the table! I was smart enough to pay to have the edible image done for me so that it looked like our invites!
