I think it's a cute cake. To reply to your 'tips' request, you might use very small fondant balls to edge the blocks i/o buttercream. Just roll fondant out to a uniform thickness, then use the end of a straw to cut out. For the lettering, try tracing the letters in the buttercream w/a toothpick and then following the lines. That's a trick I use a lot. Really nice cake!
