My DH cut me a 45 degree angle triangle. I space it 1" apart and then 1/2 inch apart. The middle layer, I started with and started on the sides and that didn't work as well as starting on the top of the cakes and then going down the sides to match the top so it looks like a continuous line. Thanks for the nice comments. I was very nervous because there really is no room for error.
Thank you for all the nice comments. The pix the bride gave me was a 2" x 4" and didn't even show the whole cake. I got the dragees from www.intheoven.com. Thanks for looking!
This is beautiful....What a wonderul job.
Gorgeous well done!!
:o Stunning!! Please share how you did the lines so evenly over the cakes....

What a pretty cake. I like the design on the first layer.
May I ask where you got the gold dragees? I've never seen them before. Cake is very elegant!!!
