This cake is on a center support stand. You cut holes in the middle and thread the cakes. Very sturdy.
oh my gosh you just made my day!!! I'm making my own wedding cake in April, 6 tiers, and I'm using the center tier cake stand.... i had never done it before and I was afraid I'd have a disaster that day, but now that you did it, i'm sure I can too!!! Thank so much for sharing your picture!!! :)
Don't forget to buy the tool that cuts out the center of your cakes.
