Butter pecan cake, BC frosting, BC was way to soft, couldn't do the roses in BC so did fondant roses, with one backwards by mistake. Didn't have time to make a base for cake, so used a foil pan covered with tissue paper in like colors. New to decorating, does not compare with the professional cakes I have seen in here but I enjoy doing this for family. Grandkids are very forgiving of old grannies mistakes.

HellieOh don't be so critical of yourself. You did a great job. I love your other photos too. It's good to learn and know what you did wrong, but feel good about what you do. As long as you enjoy what you're doing it really doesn't matter if they're "perfect". Have a good day.
