This was for my nephew's 8th birthday. He loves basketball. I didn't have a ball cake pan so free-handed one out of a 2 layer 6" round, and put it on a half sheet cake. I was rather proud on how it turned out. I don't do alot of free hand cake carving. He loved it. :-)
