This will hold in real cake. I did a 3 teir square with a light house on top. It's posted here. If you support the tier well enough they will not bow. I use 3/8 inch foam core board.
What a great idea! A good alternative to the topsy-turvey :) I love how you nestled the flowers in under the overhangs. It's a really cool cake and pretty besides :)
That's gorgeous! You nailed the attention with the offset cakes, I bet that drew them in like flies to honey!
VERY nice....no wonder it drew so much attention! Congrats!
Awesome job! I'm assuming you have just dowel rods down the middle?? How many?
absolutley gorgeous!!!!
I havent seen that before. I wonder if it would work wiht a real cake. Have you tried it?
:o Stunning!!
I can see why you got the attention. Besides being a beautiful cake it makes me a little nervous!! It's just beautiful.
This is really cool looking!
great fun. Lovely!
beautiful job! I love the lace and soft colors!
'Wow, very nice. I love it. I'm just wondering that if in a real cake it will hold.
Love the way you stacked this cake. Would it work as well with real cake? Wondering if the overhang would bow.
This is so cool. I haven't seen it anything like it. You did an awesome job, love it. :D

I can see why, this is a very nice design, I love it.
If it were a real cake, how many layers would each tier contain?
