Inspired by cupcakequeen's beautiful cone cake! Needed something quick to throw together for a birthday at work. All BC, sugar cones cut in half. Thanx cupcakequeen!
Thanx everyone!! I started by cutting the cones, but it was difficult. I just broke little pieces off at a time using my fingers. The jagged edges are hidden when you push it into the icing. I used tip 1M for the ice cream. Thanx for looking!!
How'd you cut the cones w/o breaking them? This is just darling! I gotta try it sometime.
that is so cute..i was wondering about breaking the cones too. And what tip did you use for the cone tops. Just adorable. Thanks!

Oh.... Kate, I didn't eat it, but nobody said anything about the cones being soft. I think some people tossed the cones out.
Cute!! I've also been wanting to do this one! Were the cones soft when you ate it though??
how cute!
nicely done -- very cute
How cute. Reminds me of the marshmallow sugar candy cones we used to buy when I was a child.
One of my favorite designs, fun and not overstated! You did a great job!!
