thanks everyone! I just use royal icing. I outline it in the stiff and then fill in with the thinned down icing. I do the background color and then drop in the dots with a contrasting color. I do one or two at a time, because the background color still has to be wet when you drop in the spots. Oh and I use a medium weight icicng for the spots and just pipe them in. After they dry I add the monogram. HTH! :)
