I was inspired by a cake on Duff Goldman's website for Charmed City Cakes. For a little girls skate party. Choc. cake, choc. buttercream. Accents are fondant and royal-icing. The floorboard is a drum covered in fondant and painted with gel/vodka mixture. Wheels are Rice Krispie covered in fondant. Very fun to try.

I love the butterflies on the wheels and the twirls at the top of the laces! Very cute.
