Oval with Roses baby shower cake

This is a lovely cake. I'm used to only seeing oval cakes done as Easter eggs--This is a beautiful cake!! :)

Well thank you! I did all the baby shower cakes last year (6) for the school where my daughter teaches and I strained my brain to make them all very different. I did this specially for a good friend of my daughter. I wanted it to be something with the focus on the mom rather than the baby this time. I was happy that she was very pleased with it.

Thanks Tina! They frustrate me some but I think they look like the old fashion type, which is what I prefer. They're fun.
