Mad Hatter Party Cake

I made this for a officer wives' club Mad Hatter Party. The lady who cut the cake used a blunt edged knife and mashed a good portion of the cake, I tried to tactfully step in and take over... enough was salvaged to serve each person. :)

How did ANYONE had a heart to cut this cake?? :) What a lovely topsy_turvy cake! Really like the braide finishing around the bottom of cake, the different size and colors of pearls! Anyways..said enough!lol

great job keeping the carving and fondant smooth. i also love your blue and yellow pearls. the different sizes are great. oh...and the sign, it fits SO PERFECT!
