This cake was so much fun to do, and best of all, my customer had a fit over it! (A GOOD fit! LOL.) The cake is a 1/4 sheet vanilla pound cake with a 6" round cake for the snow-covered hill. Both are iced with vanilla butter cream. All accents are gum paste and dusted with white sparkle dust. Fishing poles are nothing more than painted toothpicks and dental floss. The water is piping gel, of course, that has been tinted. Snowballs are fondant. Polar bears &snowballs are dusted w/white sparkle dust.
