I made this cake for my husband's 39th birthday.  He is a hockey fan and I used the NY Islanders colors since they're one of his favorite hockey teams.

This was the 1st cake i've ever done with rice crispie treat and boy did i have a heck of a time. If anyone has any suggestions for supporting the top it would be greatly appreciated, FYI i had 2 dowels in there....do you think i needed more??

This was a birthday cake for a little boy who is a BIG hockey fan.... All his little friends wore their Sabres jerseys to the party and they all fought over who would get to eat the buffalo on the cake!! Sooo cute!

It was Sabres Day @ my daughters school ,So we made this cookie cake for my other daughters Kindergardern class.She choose the wording & numbers. My RI buffalo cracked so this one is done with butter cream icing.

So this was my first FBCT not that bad if i may say so myself. The pattern was pulled from the NHL website, they Birthday boy is IRISH (and proud of it)  so i thought it was perfect. We went a little thin on the icing, the cake is Chocolate fudge so...
