Air Santa

In community album: 2006 Holiday Cake Contest
1 - 1 of 1 photos
Santa Claus readies for takeoff in a cross-shaped cake on blue fondant-covered Styrofoam supports and cake board. The airplane was covered in MMF and painted with green and red luster dust. Santa, the tailpiece and windshield are MMF. Candy melt lights hang below a fruit streamer. Wreath is also candy, with a licorice stick propeller anchored by a chocolate painted with super gold luster. Presents in the back seat are hard candy, Santa’s sack is MMF. Clouds are buttercream. Cake is red velvet.
