buttercream frosting.. jennifer dontz.. pearl clay for the orchids. and little flowers.. she asked for these particular colors.. i thought they went well together..

this is a golden anniversay cake.. she wanted black swirls... they added gold bow.. i wanted to make gold g/p bow. but whatever.  had issues with buttercream .. house was hot.. air running.. but kitchen was hot.. she like it ..from now on.. my tiers...

buttercream icing... gumpaste bow topper.. gumpaste plaque.. pearl clay borders... pearls clay roses . leaves and calla lillies. gumpaste 50.. 9" cake.. edible image of couple cutting their cake 50 years ago..

your cake is beautiful but could you please tell me if the flowers are bc or fondant

Hi and thanks for your message. The flowers are fondant, I used a couple of rose molds to create them. I am hopeless at buttercream roses, so using a mold was the next best thing for me!
