My friend's daughter asked me to make this topper for an additional cake to be displayed on the buffet table at her Reception.
She married a Guardsman, so i tried to replicate his uniform on the sugar paste model.

The cake topper: The owls were designed by the bride and I made them out of Modeling chocolate. They were supposed to be rice crispy but i was not getting the right look! The keepsake cake is a delicious carrot cake!

Hard to photograph properly, but it's a 3 tier white topsy-turvy cake, with gumpaste figurines of the bride and groom on their own jetboat, figurines of their 2 quadbikes, gumboots and dog tracks. I almost cried having to put those mud tracks around...

This is a wedding cake under the fresh flowers. it was 40 inches tall then then the flowers on top. We made the base in wood and painted to look as stone. Scary to deliver!

First Topsy Turvy cake. Chocolate and yellow cake. Inside has pokadots made from cake balls that were dyed black and purple.Other layers were marbled with buttercream icing accented with fondant. Many thanks for Cake Central members for inspiration...
