Bottom tier is WASC with raspberry filling; top is chocolate with raspberry filling. I'm surprised this made it from home - to class - back home - to work. ha! Sorry about the poor photo quality. :-) Still have a lot to learn but I am so very proud!

Had a couple of fondant mishaps, but was pleased overall. I LOVED making the gum paste roses, but need more practice. Cake was chocolate pound cake with mocha filling. Very yummy!

Thisis my first attempt at covering a cake in fondant. I used one of the MMF recipes on this site -- what a God send. Everyone actually liked the taste. Can't wait to make another one!

Final cake for Course 1. Some of my roses are a little wacky because my icing was too soft. I just told everyone that they are new variety of roses. ha ha! Can't wait for Course 2. :0)
