This was my first tiered cake. It was the final project in my Wilton class. It's iced and decorated with buttercream with purple, mauve, and yellow mums, a couple brown squirrels, and orange leaves around the edges, purple borders. Sadly, I ran out of real buttercream by the time I did the squirrels and had to settle for store-bought icing from a tub, which is why they are kind of sloppy looking : X

This was my first basketweave cake. Unfortunately, the flash on the camera distracted from the basketweave details so it's hard to make out. The little blue bird was done with royal icing and all the other decorations are buttercream.
