This is my final cake for the 3rd Wilton class. Covered in buttercream and mmf for the roses and leaves. The icing got very soft and everything wanted to sag and have air bubble holes in it. I want to say a quick thank you to my instructor Jackie. Thank you for everything, I wouldn't have gotten this far without your patience and support. Thank you!

This was the final cake for Wilton Course 1. All b/c, first time doing roses too. Have no idea why it's so small, sorry.

I liked the way this was going until I added the ribbon, then I hated it. This is my cake for the 2nd week of Wilton Course 3. Everything is fondant with some luster dust.

I did this as my final cake for the Wilton Fondant/Gumpaste class last night. My lid didn't want to stay on right. Flowers are gumpaste, cake is covered in fondant. Everything else is fondant/gumpaste mix.

I saw a cake similar to this on a 3 tier in here and loved the top layer. So I decided to try and do a single cake similar. I used fondant for everything except fondant/gumpaste for the roses and ribbons. This was my first time trying anything like this. I'm still going through the Wilton classes.....any and all practice helps...I think anyways!
