I made this for my mom's birthday since she loves snowmen. White cake with black cherry filling, buttercream and MMF figures. It was my first time making fondant figures. I watched Lorraine's (aine2) videos, so a big THANK YOU to her.

My first ribbon rose. These are the kind I want to put on dd's Sweet 16 cake next month, so I need alot of practice. I want them to have a more "ruffled" look instead of just a rolled up look. I guess I'm not pinching and gathering correctly.

This is the first cake I made in Course 1. It is yellow cake with pineapple filling and BC icing.
