I'm not the best at coming up with my own ideas, and ended up basing this cake off of Robin Van Hoozer's Midnight Glamour cake, entered in the 2005 OSSAS. I thought her design was unique and beautiful!
I did have some help with the cake, even the groom helped! Eveything on it is either fondant, or gumpaste. I shaped the vase using a bowl and cup.

This is a display cake for a bridal show in Las Vegas that I made for the bakery I used to work at. Ahh...It's always nice to work with styrofoam, now if I can just make it look as nice on real cake!
