This is a all lemon cake, iced in buttercream. For the ribbon I first did fondant and than regular ribbon to prevent greasy look:) The pearls were put on with tweezers and by hand. Towards the end my hands were sore and I was crosseyed :) TFL

This cake is done in buttercream and artificial flowers provided by bride cascading from top to bottom. The Bride and groom had given me words they wanted written on sides of the cake. Piping done in Royal Icing. TFL

Round small 6" chocolate cake for the top with fresh flowers and 1/2 chocolate cupcakes 1/2 vanilla cupcakes for the guests garnished with fondant daisies. TFL

This is a chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and covered with dark chocolate fondant. Scrollwork was all free hand and took a while :) TFL

My Client wanted something simple and elegant. All buttercream with Gumpaste/ Fondant Roses. Thanks to Edna for her wonderful tutorial. My first time making these kind of roses. Always room for improvement. TFL

Would you share how the lace swags on cake with coral roses are made (July 28, 2012)..My granddaughter loves this cake and is wanting this for her wedding. I am unfortunately not a decorator but my sister does some and was wondering if we could make these. Thanks for your help
