This is the cake that I was worried would look "patriotic" instead of weddingy (is that a word?).  Fondant pearls, fondant plaque, real ribbon and flowers.  All frosted in buttercream.  Very pleased how this turned out.

The bride chose this cake design from "Wedding Cakes--A Design Resource".  Many thanks to a wonderful cake design from Designer Wedding Cakes.  The only 1 thing that I did not like about this cake was the initial.  It looked better in my head.

This was for a neighbor that got married in the Virgin Islands a couple of weeks ago.  The reception was this weekend (7-7-07).  A 10", 8" and 6", all buttercream.  With real ribbon and pink free-handed scrolls.

This is one of my favorite cake designs from Wilton.  This one has a blush pink base BC frosting with white BC accents.  I have made this design in light mint green, yellow, ivory and light lavender with the white accents.

This cake was made with the 3" deep pans.Buttercream frosting with fondant leaves dry-brushed with pearl luster dust.  Store-bought Wilton bow--disappointed in it.  Did not show luster dust well and felt like it was made from paper.
